A delicious healthy high carb air fryer sweet potato fries meal that is perfect for weekend lunch. Since jumping on the Marco diet bandwagon, I’ve been forced to rethink diets and fat loss. I used to think that carbs were bad and the only way to burn fat is to cut carbs. I was wrong. Carbohydrates are an essential nutrient. However, as with all things, too much of anything is never good. The key is to eat the right amount of carbohydrates, fat, and protein specific to your body type and your body goals.

I’m on a carb cycle as part of my Marco diet. On Wednesday and Saturday I eat about 300grams of carbohydrates. Surprisingly, it’s actually pretty difficult to eat that much carbs. I found this super healthy and low fat recipe for  air fryer sweet potato fries. The fries are source of protein also, but for added protein I enjoyed a side of light tuna.

Here are the ingredients for one serving of Air fryer Sweet potato fries.
  • Two medium Sweet potatoes
  • Paprika
  •  Black pepper
  •  2tsp ground cinnamon
  •  salt
  • •1tsp olive oil

Cut the sweet potatoes into slim pieces. Coat the potatoes in the seasoning. Lightly spray the air fryer with olive oil. Heat for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
