Can we discuss Luxury ? 😍. In April, I attended an industry specific conference for work that was hosted at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Co. Spoiler Alert: this hotel is pure luxury!!
Prior to arriving, I heard from others how amazing the Broadmoor is but could not anticipate its true beauty. The Broadmoor turned 100 this year and, let me tell you, it hasn’t missed a beat. Truly amazing how this place has been kept up to date, modern, and has maintained its integrity and unique/classic characteristics.
We never left the property and that was okay. Everything we needed to see and explore was right on sight. The Broadmoor is surrounded by the Cheyenne Mountains with views that look like art. I didn’t leave the property mainly because I was busy with the conference and work but honestly if I had more free time I probably wouldn’t have anyway. On our last day there, we did the Seven Falls Hike. If you’re not used to altitude changes or can get sick, I wouldn’t recommend it. Actually, Colorado in general. The higher altitudes can make your normal easy run much more difficult. We completed the entire Seven Falls hike with some difficultly but it was worth it.
Back to the resort and the 5 star luxury! The rooms are elegantly decorated. The bathroom was heaven! Best shower I have ever taken in my entire life !! Seriously, I took like 30 minute showers twice daily because i didn’t want to leave 🤣. The staff offers turn down services and the rooms are cleaned at least 3 times a day. Upon arrival, you’re walked to your room as the staff member provides a mini tour and explains all the services provided.
